Galt Transport add off-road capabilities to fleet

Galt Transport's new off-road vehicle

Galt Transport have recently added a MAN 4x4 rigid flat vehicle with front mounted crane to their fleet.  The off-road truck joins an already diverse range of vehicles and trailers operated by the Dumbarton based haulier. 

The 18ft truck features a Palfinger PK27002 SH crane capable of lifting up to 27 tonnes per metre with the truck able to carry loads of up to 6.5 tonnes.  This new addition extends the capabilities of Galt’s fleet which already features over 60 trucks and 100 trailers featuring a selection of lorry mounted cranes, low loaders, curtain siders and Hammar container lift.

Galt Transport have been operating  since 1947.  The family run business operates throughout the UK, Ireland and the EU from 4 operating centres in Central Scotland.
